Foundation events
The joint, structured coming together of science and practice and the open dialogue of information, ideas and opinions are important building blocks in the Capital Market Union foundation project initiated jointly by the three foundations.
This purpose is served by the regular expert dialogues entitled ‘Science and Practice‘, which are organised and conducted by the foundations as events on current topics. Participation in the expert dialogues is generally free of charge for the invited participants from academia and practice.
About the organiser
The foundations for Capital Market Research, for Capital Market Law and Corporate Finance and for Capital Markets were established in 2004 as non-profit foundations by thirteen banks at the time to strengthen Germany as a financial centre. With the Capital Markets Union project, they want to contribute within the framework of their funding mandate to promoting dialogue between science and practice on the further development of the financial sector in Germany and Europe. All conference and accommodation costs are covered by the foundation project. In justified cases, travel expenses can be reimbursed to academics upon informal application and against receipts.
All events are currently held exclusively in German language. Therefore, we provide all information on previous and upcoming events exclusively in German. We ask for your understanding.
